Newbie question - web hosting - QNAP NAS Community Forum

You can try, as technically it should work.
The files has to go in a folder called Web and you need to enable the web server and mySQL, you might also have to install myPHP Admin.

How you go around pointing the domain name to the NAS is a different matter, as this would be fairly easy if you have a static IP address, a bit less so if you don't.

Keep in mind that you have a very low-end NAS with a limited amount of RAM, so the website would load quite slow and in combination with the speed of your internet connection, you'd also be limited in terms of how many simultaneous users could access the website.

Throwing in a mail server on top of this would really make the NAS struggle to cope with everything you'd want to do and to be honest, if you want to be able to do all this, you might want to consider something like a TS-469L/Pro with some additional memory thrown in.
